Every Pill I Took
Before wellness branding, before microdosing became language, before every object had to explain itself, pills were already carrying symbols, colors, logos, and tiny promises.
Every Pill I Took: 2000–2001 documents the visual language of pills photographed by Michael Lorenzini while working as a New York-based nightlife photographer. Shot close enough to become strange, they read less like substances and more like artifacts: compressed icons of pleasure, branding, risk, and disappearance.
